An inspiring encounter: Field Day at Fundo El Renuevo

On Friday, August 30, 2024, ACHIGANAR organized a successful Field Day at Fundo El Renuevo, Frutillar, bringing together approximately 30 participants interested in learning and sharing experiences about regenerative livestock farming. This activity, which took place between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., combined theoretical presentations and a guided tour of the property to learn about regenerative practices on the ground.

Inspiring talks and practical learning

The meeting began with presentations by Antonio Kusanovic, host of the event and owner of Fundo El Renuevo, and Matías Undurraga, from El Reinal. Both companies, founding partners of ACHIGANAR.

Matías Undurraga stood out with a motivational talk in which he told his story as a livestock entrepreneur, focusing on the challenges and key learnings that have led him to transform his production practices towards a sustainable and regenerative model.

Knowing the farm and its management

After the presentations, the participants took a guided tour of the El Renuevo Farm. During the tour, topics such as regenerative grazing management, soil health and pasture biodiversity were addressed. This exercise allowed attendees to observe first-hand the techniques implemented and understand how they contribute to ecological balance and productivity.

The day culminated with a lunch offered by El Reinal and Fundo El Renuevo, which allowed attendees to strengthen ties of collaboration and share reflections in a relaxed atmosphere.
